TECHNOLOGY Are you ready for IE9?  Don’t hold your breath anytime soon for the release.  Internet Explorer 9 is currently doing very well when it comes to HTML5 compliance, which will be good news for developers who have long hated rendering issues with previous versions.  This doesn’t mean it’s ready to be launched according to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

“The HTML5 Test suite is still being developed.  The number of tests and the results on the test will change,”according to their test page.

The new IE9 was claiming to be much faster and easier to operate than any of the other web browsers that most individuals are using including FireFox, Chrome and Safari. Many people are still using IE6 as their preferred web browser for the ease of use and for fear of a change.

There are big plans in the works for IE9 including Vector Graphics for 2D graphics, WebGL for 3D graphics, Web Sockets for better live communications between servers and browsers and more advanced JavaScript programs, and HTML 5 just to name a few of the up and coming features that will be available when the real product is released.
