BUSINESS According to Arbor Networks, Google now represents 6.4% of all Internet traffic around the world.

This comes just after they announced a record 2010 3rd quarter with revenue exceeding $7.29 billion.  The 6.4% represents sites owned by Google such as its actual search engine, YouTube, GMail, Google Maps, Google Docs and more.

On top of owning most of the internet and tapping into mobile phone, Google has also shown a lot of interest in building its own gigabit fiber networking, which would make the company an official Internet Service Provider.
