This Hiking Trail Might Get You Arrested, But It Would Be Worth It When You See What’s At The End.

If you have ever visited Hawaii or even dreamed of Hawaii, you imagine the beautiful ocean waters and perfectly sandy beaches, along with the breathtaking mountain views and undeniably beautiful scenery. Hawaii is a place unlike any other and that is for certain. On the island of Oahu, there is a unique and completely illegal hiking trail known as the Haiku Stairs. The stairs were formed in 1942 for the U.S. Navy for the Haʻikū Radio Station, a top secret facility that was to be used to transmit radio signals to the Navy ships that were then operating throughout the Pacific. In order to obtain the necessary height for the antennae, the Navy created the stairs across Haiku valley, a natural amphitheater surrounded by high ridges. In total, there are 4,000 steps to reach the top of this stairway to heaven.
